Call Me Home

Show Information

How does a moving, entertaining evening of music and theatre in air conditioned comfort sound during these hot summer days?   Add to the mix the opportunity to see the world premier of the brand new musical  Call Me Home  by local artists Rick Seay and Kevin Fogarty, and you have a memorable summer evening that is sure to please!

Call Me Home  is a new musical about a house and the people who live in it from the time it was built in 1831 until the present day .    It explores the relationship of a house to those who live there and those aspects which turn a house of wood, bricks, stone and mortar into an actual home.  Eight actors portray 27 different characters which impact the house.  A ninth actor plays the essence of the house itself and represents the very human feelings that many attribute to the place they call home.

Rick Seay, the author and director says:  “In each scene, interwoven with music and song, a couple must define for themselves what will make their relationship work in this very special house.  It’s a journey that everyone takes when they make a commitment to another person, and the house itself becomes the glue in these relationships.”

Call Me Home  features some of Nashville’s most talented singer/actors and will be presented at the Paschall Theatre located on the Montgomery Bell Academy campus, 4001 Harding Road, Nashville,  July 24 & 25 at 7:30 p.m.,  July 26 at 2:30 p.m. and July 31 and August 1 at 7:30 p.m.   Tickets are $10 General Admission, $8 Students and Seniors and are available at the door.  No reservations required.  The opening-night audience (July 24th) is invited to a free reception afterwards to meet the author, composer, cast, and crew.
